Wan't to know a little more about the abnormal things going on in our world?

Candy Man:
Candyman was a scary urban legend that tells a story of a murdered slave. According to the legend, if you chant his name exactly five times it is believed he will return from the dead and haunt you. These are the exact steps: Step 1, enter a washroom alone; Step 2, lock the washroom door; Step 3, chant his name five times,. The last step: wait until he appears in the mirror.
CandyMan is a is killer that has a drooling blood hook as a hand. He appears with blood and bees on him.
Slender Man:
The Slender Man is a scary urban legend that is presented as a thin, unnaturally tall human with a head and face with nothing on it and is wearing a black suit. Slender Man first appeared in June 10th, 2009. The legend of Slender Man is known to mostly appear in forests. (We are not going to add that much detail because it gets too gory).
Bunny Man:
The Bunny Man is a scary urban legend that originated from two incidents in Fairfax County, Virginia, in 1970, but has been spread throughout the Washington, D.C., area. The legend has many variations. Most involve a man wearing a rabbit costume who attacks people with an axe or hatchet. For the Bunny Man to appear you don’t have to chant his name or anything. He is usually around desert/sandy type areas.
Parapsychology is the study of the paranormal, and some people commit a lot of time to it. There is a term called “taboo”, which is when you do not believe in the paranormal. The most famous study of parapsychology was done by Pearce-Pratt. Pearce-Pratt did a lot of research and experiments in different labs.

The Ouija board is the most common paranormal board game. How this connects to the dead is basically there is an object called a “planchette” which is basically something that points out a letter. You gently place your hand(s) on top of the planchette, and then you ask a question. After you ask that question, the planchette will begin to move to answer your question, which is pretty much the dead telling you the answer to your question. This leads to people believing more about the paranormal.
Mirrors
For a long time, many people have believed that mirrors can connect to other dimensions or in fact it is a portal to another dimension or dimensions. Many people have reported seeing ghosts in the mirror, in which they are able to communicate with the dead with whom, or what is standing at the other side of the mirror. Just be careful because you would not want to be there.
Bloody Mary
Bloody Mary, the urban legend, has been known for a long time. How this works is that someone walks up to his/her washroom mirror. Close the door behind you and make sure no one has followed you inside. Place a candle in front of the mirror. Then say “Bloody Mary” 3x. After you say that, a figure will appear before your very eyes if this doesn’t turn your head three times and blow out the candle. If this works then people will start getting away from these random acts that can maybe even lead to death.
Psychologists that study some religious peoples beliefs of the paranormal, say that some religions think that if they admit that ghosts are real, they won’t experience it in person and they will be less scared when they come across one. There is research that says when a person you love has passed away, you mostly see a ghost because you feel lonely and are desperate to find someone to talk and/or hangout with. There are people that have taken pictures of someone or something, then they claim that there is a ghost in their picture which leads them to believe in ghosts.
In Taiwan, there is a belief called “Ghost Month”, and if you see a ghost in this time they say bad things will happen to you. A study has shown that people avoid dangerous behaviors that could cause death during Ghost Month. These include drowning, therefore they avoid bodies of water so they then have fewer deaths during this time.
One of the experiences we will talk about is Winston Churchill’s encounter with a ghost. This happened shortly after World War II. Winston Churchill was at the White House visiting for a short time. After taking a bath, he walked into his bedroom and saw the ghost of Abraham Lincoln. When Winston Churchill saw the ghost of Abraham Lincoln he said, “Good evening Mr President. You seem to have me at a disadvantage.” The ghost smiled at him then disappeared.
One day a young Italian psychologist looked in a mirror and saw a strange old man in the reflection. Another important sighting of ghosts was when a British tourist was visiting the famous prison Alcatraz in San Francisco. The tourist said she saw a ghost in a photograph took of a prison cell, even though there was nothing in the cell.
